Barry Wilson Funeral Home

Barry is a life-long resident of the Collinsville and Maryville, Illinois area, and the son of Conley and LaVerne (nee Finn) Wilson of Collinsville.  He is a 1980 graduate of Collinsville High School and attended both North Junior High and Maryville West Elementary schools.  He was first baseman and pitcher of the 1980 Collinsville Kahok Baseball State Championship team, and also played basketball for the Collinsville Kahoks 1978, 1979, and 1980.  He graduated in 1983 from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale with an associate degree in Mortuary Science.  Barry has 37 years of experience in the Collinsville, Maryville area as a funeral director and embalmer.  He has Funeral Director and Embalmer licenses in both Illinois and Missouri, is a licensed Life Insurance Producer in Illinois, and holds a crematory operators certificate which he attained in 2005.  Mr. Wilson has been a Reserve Madison County Deputy Coroner since 1990.
