Job Type: Temp to Hire
Location: Alton, IL
Shift: 8am - 4:30pm | Monday - Friday
Pay: $20-25/hour (Based on Experience)

Responsibilities/Experience of the Warehouse Lead:
- Experience working in a business leading a small group of warehouse and shipping and receiving personnel.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office, including Outlook.
- Must have strong knowledge of warehouse & shipping and receiving processes.
- Ability to work well in teams, yet able to make decisions and provide instruction to colleagues.
- Ability to coordinate deliveries to customers and clients on a daily basis, including boxing products, addressing packages, and staying in contact with shipping companies.
- Ability to follow company policies on packaging for domestic and international customers.
- Ability to receive goods and check for possible damages.
- Ability to keep records of goods and prepare regular shipping reports.
- Schedule and prepare large shipments for LTL and air freight vendors.
- Perform customer service duties as necessary, maintaining good relationships with shipping companies and clients.
- Efficiently works with internal freight coordinator.
- Problem solves for customers and suppliers about shipping routes, delayed items and rush orders.
- Performs administrative duties like answering phones and updating records.
Requirements of Warehouse Lead:
- Prior leadership role in a smaller warehouse or business preferred.
- Reliable and dedicated to the job and company.
- Follows written and verbal instruction carefully and with precision.
- Ability to lift 75lbs
- Ability to pass background and drug screening
