    Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Weld Technician - 2nd Shift. The hourly rate for this position is 23.52 per hour along with a shift differential of $.50 per hour. The regularly scheduled hours are Monday through Friday from 3:00 pm until 11:00 pm. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based on candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

    What you’ll do:

    As a Welding Technician you will be responsible for reading and interpreting blue prints and welding symbols. You will also be part of Quality inspections. Works in a cross-functional team of welders.

    • Hand Weld
    • Progressive Weld
    • Auto MIG Weld

    Qualifications:

    Required (Basic) Qualifications

    • Must have previous manufacturing experience.
    • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
    • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.  Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Highland, IL will be considered.  (Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation).
