Veterinary Client Care Specialist

Hawthorne Animal Hospital, a 65-year-old institution in Glen Carbon and the St. Louis Metro East, seeks an exceptional Veterinary Client Care Specialist to create a positive first impression for our clients.

Main Responsibilities:
• Schedule appointments and manage client flow
• Check in and out clients and patients, answering phone calls including emergencies
• Perform various administrative tasks such as patient rechecks, prescription requests, and online appointment requests

Requirements: This role requires a motivated team player with excellent communication skills, able to work 12-hour shifts including full weekends and holidays. A working knowledge of multi-line phone systems and general office equipment is necessary. Additionally, applicants must be comfortable interacting with clients in person and over the phone, remain calm during emergency situations, and pass a drug screen.
