Senior Application Engineer

Job Summary: We are looking for a Senior Application Engineer to join a growing team.  Duties include:
•    Write application notes.
•    First line of contact for the internal Tech Sales Support group related to application questions.
•    Ability to test the product in the application.
•    Have direct interactions with customers both remotely and in person once detailed application-related questions arise.
•    Draft training material for internal and external use.
•    Provide marketing input to the Product Line Manager from Sales and Customer interactions.
•    Draft marketing material in conjunction with the Marketing Communications group.
•    Attend industry conferences and participate in industry societies.
•    Conduct webinars & customer training seminars.
•    Attend internal Basler training and coordination events.
•    Support sales to complete customer acceptance of Basler product use:
o    Answer application and product related questions prior to sale.
o    Provide training on product & application basics to sales and target customers.
o    For large or nuanced opportunities, communicate detailed technical information to proposal team or PLM for quoting. This may require a visit to the site.
o    Answer application related questions as they arise

Pay: $96,000/yr - $113,000/yr, BOE

Qualifications:  
•    BSEE, Professional Experience, or technical experience.
•    Travel up to 40%.
•    Power system experience.
•    Familiarity with power system simulation and coordination software.
•    Interest in aspects of the evolving
