4- Year-Old Classroom Lead Teacher - Full Time

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (with a 1-hour lunch)
Compensation: $18 - $24 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Job Description:
Peppermint Preschool is seeking an experienced and passionate Lead Teacher for our four-year-old classroom. Our program follows a research-based curriculum aligned with Illinois Early Learning Standards and fosters a structured yet nurturing environment for early childhood education. We are looking for an educator who is committed to fostering a positive learning environment while supporting social-emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:
Implement a structured curriculum based on Illinois Early Learning Standards.
Develop lesson plans and assess student progress using portfolio documentation.
Foster a positive classroom culture that promotes collaboration and learning.
Maintain open communication with parents regarding student development.
Ensure compliance with DCFS licensing regulations and school policies.
  Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
Previous experience working in a licensed childcare setting.
CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
