Job Full Description

Provides technical and operational leadership across accounting functions. Develops and implements accounting policies and procedures that adhere to governmental financial and tax regulations and comply with GAAP and IFRS standards. Operationalizes accounting systems and processes to deliver continuous improvements. Ensures accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes and reporting. Establishes internal auditing processes and coordinates external audits. Uses in-depth knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and best practices to develop accounting professionals.

Pay: $70,000/yr+, BOE
Location: Greenville, IL

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in accounting, management, finance, business, or a related field
• A Master of Accountancy or Business Administration
• 10 years of work experience, with 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or auditing
• Experience in a non-profit or educational setting
• Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified in Financial Management (CMA)
• Proficiency in MS Excel and experience building and maintaining complex financial models
