    Could This Be For You:
    The Surestep Sales Account Manager is responsible for maintaining revenue streams within existing customers, driving sales growth within established customers, and the acquisition of new customers in a specified region or major geographical area. The terriroty for this position will include, but is not limited to a mix of Midwest and Southeast states. This is a remote position, where the ideal candidate will reside within the defined territory. Travel is required. 

    Your Impact:
    Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

    Build relationships with current and prospective customers based on trust, integrity, empathy, mutual benefits and patient outcomes
    Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for the assigned geography or set of accounts which maximizes revenue generation
    Work with marketing, the education team and other Surestep resources to implement programs to achieve assigned territory revenue and profitability goals
    Develop new accounts and manage existing accounts, leveraging technical support and customer satisfaction activities 
    Contribute to the development of market, product and pricing strategies. Provide input to customer quote and deviation requests.
    Learn and maintain proficiency with Salesforce and enter sales activity and customer information on a timely basis
    Effectively deliver and reinforce the Surestep value proposition to existing and potential customers
    Treat the assigned geography and/or accounts as a personal franchise in a way that utilizes time and company resources in a cost- effective way that will enhance the Surestep brand, customer satisfaction and revenue growth
    Troubleshoot and resolve problems regarding product delivery or quality
    Participate in education and training conferences on selling and marketing of Surestep devices
    Maintain an understanding of current and future products, the competitive landscape, and how to most effectively compete in the assigned set of customers or geography
    Travel required 50% - 75% to customer locations, with overnight and flight travel as needed. Travel will include heavy highway driving.

    Proficiency with contract management programs
    Perform customer presentations
    Administrative Requirements
    Daily/Weekly updates to contact management and sales activity in Salesforce
    Input to the quarterly and annual Forecast
    Key Account Reports
    Monthly Reports
    Maintenance of weekly itineraries and expense reporting
    The incumbent must be capable of working in a deadline driven environment and can multi-task
    Minimum Qualifications:
    Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing or Business preferred, or related field
    Minimum of 5 years of related experience
    A valid driver’s license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.

    Pay range of $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 salary range + commission + benefits. This pay range is posted to comply with wage transparency laws. Hanger salary ranges vary based on skill, ability, knowledge, geographic location and other variables.
