    Job Description Bookkeeper
    Job Summary: The Bookkeeper will be responsible for ensuring that all financial and scheduling tasks are handled accurately and promptly. This individual will help streamline office operations, allowing the management team to focus on strategic priorities without needing to micromanage daily activities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Must be open to multitask in all areas to assist Accountants.
     
    Key Responsibilities:
     
    Bookkeeping:
    o Manage all bookkeeping tasks, including maintaining accurate records in QuickBooks, handling accounts payable and receivable, and reconciling bank and credit card statements.
    o Oversee and manage 3rd party payroll processing, ensuring accuracy in employee payments and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
    o Prepare and maintain financial reports and assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
     
    Communication & Coordination:
    o Facilitate clear communication between the office and client ensuring efficiently for the follow tax year.
    o Provide daily and proactive support to ensure that operations run smoothly without needing constant oversight.
     
    Process Improvement:
    o Identify opportunities to improve office processes and workflow to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
    o Develop and implement strategies to minimize management involvement in daily tasks while maintaining high standards.
     
    Qualifications:
    Proven experience in bookkeeping and office management, preferably within a similar industry.
    Proficiency in QuickBooks, Drake, lacerate, AMS, CSA and other relevant accounting software.
    Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively.
    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all work.
    Ability to work independently, proactively solving problems and making decisions.
    Familiarity with payroll processing and scheduling coordination is highly desirable.

    Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour based on experience

    Schedule:
    8 hour shift
    Day shift
    Monday to Friday 8:30-5
    Saturday mandatory February 1st -April 15th 9-12

    Experience:
    Bookkeeping: 3 years (Required)
